Cinnamon & Sugar Cake
Serves 12

1 Package (18.25 Ounces) White Cake Mix
1 Cup 2% Milk
½ Cup Sour Cream
6 Tablespoons Butter, Melted
3 Eggs
2 ½ Teaspoons Ground Cinnamon
1 ½ Teaspoons Vanilla Extract

FROSTING:
1 Cup Butter, Softened
5 Cups Confectioners’ Sugar
2 Tablespoons 2% Milk
1 Teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
1 Tablespoon Cinnamon-Sugar

  1. Combine first seven ingredients in a large bowl; beat on low speed for 30 seconds.  Beat on medium for 2 minutes.  Transfer to two greased and floured 9-inch round baking pans.
  2. Bake at 350ºF for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the middle comes out clean.  Cool for 10 minutes before removing from pans to wire racks to cool completely.
  3. Beat butter until fluffy in a large bowl.  Add the confectioners’ sugar, milk, cinnamon and extract; beat until smooth.  Spread frosting between layers and over top and sides of cake.  Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.  Store in the refrigerator.
